So sorry this is late!!! Today has been chaos after coming back from the HCC Frenzy and Angie Thomas event. There was so much to catch up on for the house, work, and social media! But, better late than never!
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all the support of the first ever Top 5 Tuesday themed month! It was such a huge success! It was also very subjective which was so interesting to see! There were so many characters and books that seemed to fit in multiple houses. I loved reading all of your answers! But now the themed week is done, and we are onto fresh and new topics. Without further ado, here’s what we will be talking about in March!
March 5 – Top 5 book spines
March 12 – Top 5 books set in your own country
March 19 – Top 5 fictional friendships
March 26 – Top 5 books set in space
I’m just gunna put this out there – my favourite topic is the first one! I have a bit on an obsession with book spines! They really don’t get enough credit – they’re always overshadowed by the cover. But I think it’s high time that book spines get some time in the spotlight!! The second one (books set in your own country) is one that I’m doing for selfish reasons lol. I want to read more books set in different countries. What better way to get exposed to books set in another country than asking those who live there! It will also be amazing to learn where some of you participants live! The last 2 are classic favourites 🙂 Hope you like the topics for this month!
Lastly, I just wanted to remind you to send me a link if I’ve missed adding you to the participants list. I’m still having some issues with all the notifications coming through and I know i’ve missed a few in the past. It’s not that I’m ignoring you, it’s that WordPress isn’t telling me you participated lol. Also, due to my hectic work days (and the increased number of amazing participants!), I don’t often have the chance to comment on all your posts. But be sure that I HAVE read! Thanks to all you lovely participants who join in to talk about books!
Until next time, happy reading!
