Happy Tuesday everyone! And welcome to another Top 5 list!! This one is all about the authors I would LOVE to meet! Because of social media it’s become so easy to realize what the author behind the book is like. Pictures, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube interviews, and SO much more! The 5 authors that I would LOVE to meet one day are either because I’ve fallen in love with their words/books, and they have a personality that seems close to mine. I could, for the most part, see myself just hanging out with these people and having great laughs and conversation! Here are the 5 authors that I would love to meet one day 🙂
Also, to the participants – I have a doctors appointment this morning (WHY are there always appointments and sickness on Tuesdays?? There’s so many other days but it’s always Tuesday!!) so I will be updating the list some time in the early afternoon. Sorry for the delay yet again! One of these weeks my life will be normal…… I hope!
Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme where I explore different topics. If you are interested in participating I would love to have you! Here is a list of my Upcoming topics in March – please remember to ping back a specific post of mine so I get a notification and I will add you to the participants list!
JAY KRISTOFF
Surprised? Didn’t think so. I want to meet this author in THE WORST WAY!!! I obviously love his books. There’s something about his writing style that speaks to my twisted adventurous soul. The characters he writes are my type of people, there’s a lot of chaos and weird things happening, his worlds are unique and he’s all about sci-fi and fantasy. But that’s not the only reason why I want to meet him. He just seems like an all around HILARIOUS and fun person! Check out his twitter and blog – there’s no way you won’t be in awe of his personality after checking out his twitter! He just seems like such an amazing person with such a fantastic sense of humour. One day maybe! Though I have a feeling that if I got to hang out with him for just one day we would end up getting drunk, getting tattoos, arrested for something crazy (possibly riding kangaroos) and making it onto the internet for being crazy idiots.
SARAH J MAAS
Queen Maas is most definitely someone that I need to meet in person (yes I realize that I didn’t include all her books in the pic – it was just what I had already available. Don’t at me!!!!). I’ve seen quite a few of her interviews and bookstore tours where she’s speaking and she’s just so adorable, quirky and funny!! Her personality seems so close to mine, same with her sense of humour. Some of the things she says and the way she says it reminds me so much of me and my friends. And who wouldn’t want to hang out with the mind that created Rhysand?!
J.K. ROWLING
Do I really need to explain why I would love to meet her? I didn’t think so! She is such an inspiration! Everything from her life before she became a writer, making it to where she is today, and what she’s chosen to do with her fame and money since making it big. I would also love the chance to ask her the 5 million questions I have stored in my brain since reading the series! I want to know all the things past, present, and future to the series. I also want to know more about Diagon alley and the magic system itself……. the list could go on forever!
RYAN GRAUDIN
Yet another author that seems super cool and I want to just hang out with her. We have a mutual love of dogs so we could hang out and talk while we play with puppies lol! I love that her books take intense and impactful historical events and she puts a spin on them. It would be so much fun to talk about different historical events and make different scenarios to see where our minds would take the outcome! I can make things pretty weird so if you put my twisted mind with the mind of an already accomplished author…… things could get interesting!
ANDY WEIR
This is an author that I’ve never really seen anything of outside of his books. I’ve never read anything on Twitter or even seen an interview with him. BUT – I want to meet him out of pure curiosity alone. I want to know if his sense of humour in real life is close to how he writes! Mark Watney and Jazz Bashara were two of my all time favourite characters. I want to either drink in a bar with them or survive in strange and dangerous situations with them. I think it would also be cool to hang out with this author and just have him explain science to me! He makes is so easy!!

Until then, I will continue to watch their interviews and hope that one day I can meet them in person! But, honestly, if I met any of these people in person, I would probably be so excited that I wouldn’t be able to speak in complete sentences!
Who would you like to meet?
Until next time, happy reading!
I would love to meet Andy Weir ❤ ❤

Great choice with J. K. Rowling, I bet she is incredible to talk to 🙂 I would love to meet Neil Gaiman, but most of the authors I would like to meet are sadly already deceased 😦
