This week wasn’t the best for my mental health BUT it’s a damn good thing that my coping mechanism is reading lol. Nothing really bad happened – it was just one of those times where your emotions that you’ve held back for so long because you wanted to “be strong” catch up to you and you end up dealing with a mental breakdown. That was fun lol. Books came to the rescue and helped keep my mind occupied…… Apparently my mind needed a lot of distracting because I managed to read OVER 1,000 PAGES THIS WEEK!!! Part of me doesn’t want to have a week like this again (mentally) but part of me does lol. Let’s see what I read this week:
BOOKS I FINISHED THIS WEEK:

This book was the best rereading experience I’ve EVER had! When I read it the first time I was really salty about the fact that it wasn’t Nesta’s story. I thought that I did a good enough job separating my feelings… apparently not! I remembered liking this book the first time but nowhere near as much as I liked it this time around. I LOVED everything about it this time! I have a post planned for this week where i’m going to compare my thoughts now compared to the first time I read it. Stay tuned!
BOOKS I’M CURRENTLY READING:

At the time of writing this post I’m currently around 300 pages into HOUSE OF SKY AND BREATH by Sarah J Maas and I can already tell that this book is going to destroy my soul! It’s spurred on some wild theories and some unexpected moments. I’ve seen a few videos of people reacting to the last few chapters and I don’t know that i’m ready….. send help! Also – who else saw that she now has 2 kids?! Yes, she had a baby girl and kept it a secret. Sneaky woman! The baby is absolutely adorable! Congrats to her!
After I finish that one, I need to get to ALL MY RAGE by Sabaa Tahir. It publishes on March 1st and I still haven’t started it yet… oops! Sorry, but SJM was a priority lol. This one sounds hard hitting and emotional; something very different from what she’s written in the past. I’m really excited! The last bit of the synopsis makes me even more excited ; “From one of today’s most cherished and bestselling young adult authors comes a breathtaking novel of young love, old regrets, and forgiveness—one that’s both tragic and poignant in its tender ferocity.” All of this! Yes please!
POSTS COMING THIS WEEK:
series announcement coming soon!!!!
I don’t have any posts planned for this week because I want to focus on a few new ideas! I loved doing the Top 5 Tuesday posts but my daily life was so busy that I couldn’t keep up with it. These 2 new ideas are totally new, like nothing i’ve seen before, and something that it easier to manage with my busy life. I’ll give you a hint for each series idea:
– First is a series that has to do with the struggle of wanting to reread but not allowing myself.
– Second is a series that combines small business bookstores and reading recommendations!
Thats all i’m saying for now! Have any quesses?
I hope you all have an amazing week!
Until next time, happy reading!
I totally agree with you on House of Earth and Blood! I think I gave it 4 stars the first time and when I re-read it before HOSAB I LOVED it! 5 stars for sure!

I’m sorry you had a rough mental health week, but way to go on reading so much! I still haven’t read the first CC book because I started a really awful slump right when it released, but my copy of the second book has arrived and I’m hoping to binge read them both right after A Court of Silver Flames (which also came out during that long slump, lol)!
