March 2020 TBR!

I’m a few days late posting this and, to be honest, I don’t even know if it’s going to be all that interesting. If you want to skip this, my feelings wouldn’t be hurt…. I promise! March is probably the busiest month of the year. We are prepping for the season change for two businesses and it’s the busiest time for both of them. This is where my husband and I throw sleep out the window, load up on copious amounts of coffee (IV drip please?), and work 12-18 hour days. Whoever said that owning your own business was fun is a damn liar! When you own two that are somewhat related though….. it’s insanity!

My reading may take a bit of a dive this month because of how busy things are. I will have quite a lot of time to listen to audiobooks but i’m in such a SLUMP with audiobooks right now! I can’t find some of the ones that I really want to listen to and almost every narrator is getting under my skin. So i’ve chosen to binge watch Netflix shows instead. I go through phases like this. Soon I’ll be back to listening to audiobooks and I won’t watch a single show for 3-6 months lol. I do have a few books that I really want to read this month though! So let’s get into those shall we?

House of earth and blood

First off is my preorder of House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City) by Sarah J Maas! I’m expecting this one in the mail any day now! I don’t even know what it’s about…… I haven’t even read the synopsis! And I don’t care either lol. I want to go into this blindly and fall in love 🙂

The house in the cerulean sea

Next is an ARC that fell into my lap that I didn’t even know I needed lol. I hadn’t heard of The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune before but now I can’t wait to dive in! First off – that cover!!! Second, it’s about an island where there’s an orphanage for magical children…… and it was blurbed by Seanan McGuire as being next to perfect…… this one sounds more than promising!

wicked as you wish

Next is another ARC from Raincoast that I got a few months ago – Wicked As You Wish by Rin Chupeco. I’ve yet to read anything from this author but I’ve heard pretty much nothing but good things. It seems as though it’s magical but set in a contemporary world? I honestly don’t remember. I was apprehensive about it in the beginning but, i’ve caught a few recent reviews, and they were all really positive!

truth or beard

I’ve really been in the mood to read romance lately so Truth Or Beard by Penny Reid is going to happen this month! I have a friend who recommends this series almost every time she opens her mouth (Yes Robin – it’s happening!) and I need to read it for myself. She’s sent me a few paragraphs and one liners from this book and it’s hilarious! I can’t wait!!!!

That’s about all i’m going to plan for this month. I hope that I can fit in a few more but it’s really going to depend on how busy things get and if I can get the hell over my audiobook slump. I hope that my wrap up is longer than just four books but I’m being realistic so I know there’s a chance it might not happen. What do you plan to read this month?

Until next time, happy reading!

    I hope you survive March!
I also have those periods where I really do not want to pick up an audiobook and just prefer listening to music!

    1. Same! I’ve had it on my kindle for months and a friend has been begging me to read it. I have a feeling that once I read it I’ll be mad that I waited so long 😂

SO excited for the new Maas novel! I was so into it when I read the synopsis but the funny this is I can’t even remember what it’s about but I’m still beyond excited! Now if only she can give me more ACOTAR novels…..
