December 2019 TBR!

I wasn’t going to do a TBR this month. I’ve sucked at sticking to them recently but I figured this is a special one – the last one I’ll do in 2019! I don’t have big plans. This is usually the worst reading month as there’s so much going on! But I do have a few that I’m really excited for and wanted to show them off!

The first two books I KNOW I’ll be reading in December……. I don’t think I would enjoy these as much if I read them in June….. CHRISTMAS AT CEDARWOOD LODGE by Rebecca Raisin is first on my list. All I know is that this is about a woman who is running from her secrets in New York back to her hometown where she is renovating and reopening a lodge. Sounds like it’s the perfect amount of female adventure mixed with holiday magic! Then there’s FINDING CHRISTMAS by Karen Schaler. I am beyond excited for this one! She’s obsessed with Christmas and can’t wait to spend it with her new boyfriend. But he’s a bit of a grinch – so to get him into the holiday spirit, she creates a scavenger hunt. Problem is, she ends up sending the wrong man in search of her clues!! A writer thinks that the clues are being sent to him by his agent to cure his writers block. Obviously chaos ensues and I’m here for it!!

The starless sea

Dear god, this book better not end up on my TBR for January. I NEED to get to THE STARLESS SEA by Erin Morgenstern by the end of the year!! I have purposefully stayed away from all reviews and mentions of this book so that I don’t get spoiled. I have a feeling this one might end up on my top 10 list for the year so it needs to get read ASAP!

That’s it! 3 books is all I have planned for the month. I hope that I can read more than that but I’m being realistic. Are there any special books that you have planned for the last month of the year??

Until next time, happy reading!

I have come to the realization that I will not be able to get to Starless Sea this year. I am STILL working on the Toll and have a lot going on but I am super excited to read it early in 2020! I have been saving reviews to read for after I finish it, so I am excited to include yours once it’s done :]

Great looking list and very similar to my own! Filled with a few Christmas Holiday romances and some more intense reads I NEED to get to. ❤
