Top 5 Covers of 2019!

Prepare to feast your eyes on the most spectacular covers of 2019! I love seeing people’s favourite covers. Everyone has different tastes in covers so it’s interesting to see the differences. Some people like faces while others don’t. Some people like bold font, while others prefer smaller. It’s all in the eye of the beholder. I personally love bold fonts and LOTS of colour! You’ll see a pattern in a second lol. But here are my top 5 favourite covers of 2019:

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme where I explore different topics. If you are interested in participating I would love to have you! Here is a list of my Upcoming topics in September – please remember to ping back a specific post of mine so I get a notification and I will add you to the participants list!

A Thousand years to wait

Hands down, this is my number one favourite cover of the entire year! There isn’t a single thing I don’t like about this. The design, the colours, the textures, the patterns – the whole thing is glorious! If you think this picture is beautiful, you should see it in person. Best thing is – the inside matches the outside 🙂

Record of a spaceborn few

I’m a total sucker for anything space and cosmic looking – and this one isn’t any different! In fact, I think I love it more because of the colour combination. I’m also a sucker for silhouettes. It’s having people on a cover without having them stare at you!

in an absent dream

The dream like look of this cover gets me every time! I love trees on covers in general, but this one might be my favourite with the doorway, the colours, the light reflection – and it fits the title perfectly!

The Merciful Crow

No, I haven’t actually read this one yet, but the cover still makes me want to devour it! I love contrasting colours. Complimentary is great, but contrasting catches my eye so much faster. I also love the design and the way my eye moves throughout the image.

Middlegame

One of these things is not like the other?? LOL! Yes, I know that all of my other favourites have been bright, colourful, and full of designs, but I also love simplistic covers as well. Though i’m not the biggest fan of the vertical writing on the fingers, this cover in general still makes the list. Also because it fits the book so well!

Yeah, I’m pretty easy to please but I have a “type”. I love bold anything! Colours, fonts, designs, patterns. If it’s bright and shiny, I’ll basically love it lol. Especially if there are stars or flowers…… you’ve hooked me completely!

What are your favourite covers of 2019?

Until next time, happy reading!

    1. You’re right – no two people would make the same list and I love that! Generally I don’t like faces on covers. There have been a few exceptions. A friend of mine did a poll once and it was a 50/50 split for people that did OR didn’t like faces on covers lol
