Weekly Wrap Up – Mar 4 – 10

…….. if you could only see my planner (which I update in my Instagram), then you would see just how insane this week was. It was filled with non stop work and doctors appointments. Even though it was busy, it was super productive and we stayed in a positive mood. I just hope that this week is a little less chaotic….. oh wait, it’s March Break and work is even busier than it was last week….. so no lol. Positivity and good books will get me through it just like it did this week! I read a book that hooked me from the first chapter and made me desperate to know what happened next! So here’s what I read this week:

Wicked saints

No word of a lie – this book was amazing! It had one of the most explosive first chapters i’ve ever read and the pace never slowed down once! It drove me to know more immediately and threw me for so many unexpected loops! There was a unique magic system, a magic duel, gods, royalty, a cult group called the Vultures, brutality, and so much more!!! You’ll have to wait until March 26th for my blog tour stop for my full review though!

With the fire on high

I haven’t actually started this one yet but I think this is going to be the book I read next. Since my week is going to be so busy, I need something light hearted and something that I can take my time with. I’m not sure how much time I’m going to have to read this week though. If I can finish a book I will be SOOOOO surprised!!!

This week was one of my all time favourite topics! I don’t know why i’m so obsessed with book spines but I totally am! This week we talked about our Top 5 book spines – and there were so many good choices!! I’m also very proud of the Instagram picture I took for the post too 🙂 Next weeks topic is TOP 5 BOOKS SET IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY. I’ve been wanting to read more books set in different places in the world. What better way to find books than to ask the bookworms that live there! For me, I will be talking about books set in Canada…. though I haven’t read that many so my list might be pretty short….

Sadly, that was my bookish week. Little to nothing happening. And next week won’t be any better. I haven’t responded to comments either…… basically, I’m a slacking loser…… thanks for dealing with me lol!!! Then there’s the fact that the clocks went ahead and we lost an hour of sleep…… I’m fighting a losing battle here! lol

Until next time, happy reading!
