Top 5 Badass Females!

Being a female myself, I’m not going to lie – I love reading a book where the female character is strong and kicks some ass! I’m a fairy shy and quiet person in real life, but I’m also a very strong, determined, and independent person. So I like it when a character takes those traits that I’m sometimes too afraid to use, and goes out and takes what she wants! Here are my top 5 badass females:

MIA from Nevernight – This girl will ALWAYS be my number one Betty Badass! Not only does she have the ability to overcome her fears, but she also has the drive and determination to make the hard choices, and the seriously scary skills to accomplish her goals. She’s a trained assassin, trained in the many aspects that come along with the job, and she is absolutely terrifying because she’s so good at it all! I wouldn’t want to be on her bad side!

JAZZ from Artemis – Oh how I LOVED Jazz! She was just your typical girl, wanting a life of comfort and free from worry. Her problem was that she was always making bad choices to get her that comfort! But the reason why I loved her so much was her attitude, crude humour, bold mouth, and comfort with her sexuality. She is definitely the type of person I could be best friends with in real life!

PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL from Harry Potter – There are so many amazing women to choose from when it comes to this series. There’s Hermoine, Ginny, Luna, Molly Weasley, Tonks, and so many others. But Professor McGonagall has a special place in my heart! She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, stood up for what she believed in, and could tear you into pieces verbally without you even realizing that she had done it. She seemed sweet and matter of fact with her words, but really, she dug your grave for you and just waited for you to fall in.

INEJ from Six of Crows – This girl was just incredible! The life that she came from was hard to say the least. But she worked hard to get herself out of that situation and prove herself worthy to be a part of this crew. She was super stealthy, strong, and confident, and well worth more than she gave herself credit for! If ever I had a thieving crew, she would be one of the leaders!

LEMON FRESH from Lifel1k3 – Yes, another Kristoff book on this list……. really, don’t act surprised! She herself is badass, but it all starts with the name lol! Though it’s not the name she was born with, it’s still amazing that there’s a book out there with a character that has a name like this! She was more a supporting role in this book, but she was never willing to leave her best friends side. Never fearing the situations and always willing to put herself into danger for her family. She was also a mouthy little thing, which made me love her even more!
