Fall book tag – 2018!

I can’t believe that it’s been more than a year since I created the fall book tag! It was a tag that I created with my favourite season in mind and, since then, the post is now one of my most viewed posts! I love seeing people do this tag and how all your answers differ. I will try to do this post every year without referring back to the books from previous years. If you want to see the original post from last year, click HERE So, here is the 2018 edition!

CRISP FALL AIR – A BOOK THAT FELT FRESH AND NEW:

Muse of nightmares

There was just something about this book that was so unique and hard hitting. It’s been a few weeks since I finished it and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. The atmosphere still weighs heavy on my heart. There are certain elements that aren’t entirely new, but the way it was written made it something seriously special.

HOWLING WINDS – AN ENDING THAT BLEW YOU AWAY:

The loneliest girl in the universe

I went into this book expecting it to be a story of a girl, isolated in space, who is finally able to talk to another human and they fall in love. The reality of this book knocked my feet right out from under me! I usually see twists coming, but not this one!!!!!!!

COMFY SWEATERS – A BOOK THAT GAVE YOU THE WARM AND FUZZY’S:

The hearts invisible furies

Oh my heart. My heart was a mess after finishing this book! It had swelled with love and been savagely beaten more times than I can count. This book was just beyond incredible!!!!! There are a LOT of not so cuddly things in this book but, overall, it’s a heartwarming story.

BRIGHT COLOURS – A COVER WITH RED, ORANGE, OR YELLOW:

LEAF FIGHT – A BOOK WITH NON STOP ACTION:

Hounded

This book was non stop! Literally every chapter things were happening, new threats were coming, new people introduced, and so much more. This was one of those books that completely sucked me in and the whole “One more chapter” thing continued for hours on end!

PUMPKIN SPICE – YOUR MOST ANTICIPATED READ:

These two are book books that release this month! Technically, Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak has already been released. I ordered both of these at the same time so they’re going to ship together at the end of the month. I’ve read and loved two books my Markus Zusak (I Am The Messenger and The Book Thief) and LOVED them both, so I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next! And, of course, Kingdom of Ash – the finale of Throne of Glass! I do NOT trust Sarah J Maas with my heart though. I have a feeling this one is going to be a tough one and not everyone is going to make it out alive! And I’m terrified! But at the same time SO EXCITED that there’s finally going to be a conclusion.

I won’t be tagging anyone as this is an older tag and you might have already seen/done it. If you haven’t – consider yourself tagged!

Until next time, happy reading!
