Off The Grid Readathon – Oct 2018 TBR!

It’s almost here and I’m SOOOOO excited! The first ever Off The Grid Readathon begins on Friday at 12:00am and ends on Sunday at 11:59am – that’s 3 FULL days of reading! Now remember, the hardest part will be staying off the grid which means, staying away from your phone and social media. Sounds easy, right? I can tell you that it’s not! For all details and information on this readathon, check out my Announcement post here or Justine’s YouTube video announcement here! Also, for most up to date info and announcements, follow us on Twitter @OffTheGridReads. But for now, here is my TBR for the readathon:

OTG tbr 1

The first book I’ve already started which is A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay. This is a reread and one I haven’t stopped thinking about since I read it last year. The ending was one of the best freaking endings I’ve EVER read and I wanted to see if I could piece together things I didn’t notice the first time. So I know that I can finish this one.

The next book that I’ll be picking up is Scream All Night by Derek Milman. I heard about this one about 6 months ago and immediately became obsessed with it! This sounds like something weird, creepy, funny, and all things I love. I can’t wait to dive in!

The last book that I hope to read is And I Darken by Kiersten White. I’ve had so many people scream at me to read this book! They all seem to love it and I love all things Dracula, so this should be a good one!!

When Justine and I put this readathon together, we wanted to do a Twitter chat on Sunday to talk to those who were participating and see how it went. Unfortunately, due to bad planning on my part, I won’t be able to do a chat this time. I totally forgot that we are travelling to Toronto for my brother in law’s engagement party, so I won’t be available. If we can maybe do a chat on Monday night instead, we will announce that on our Twitter page (so be sure you’re following us!)

Are you planning on participating? Let us know!

Until next time, happy reading!

    1. I’m travelling as well. 3 hours away for an engagement party, overnight in a hotel, then coming back home. Hoping I can get some reading done in there somewhere 😂

  10. I haven’t started yet because there are so many other things I want / need to do, but rest assured I’ll turn my phone on airplane mode the MOMENT I start reading, haha.

Enjoy, Shanah! Hope you get a lot of technology-free time this weekend. 🙂

    1. I hope you like And I Darken more than I did…… I ended up DNF’ing it 😢 it was confusing and not interesting to me at all. SO not how I thought it was going to go!
