As the title suggests, the book haul from this month was huge! Between the books I received as gifts, and the books I bought for myself using gift cards, 16 new books found a new home on my bookshelves! There were even more that will be hauled in January as I have gotten a few ARC’s, some were preorders, and some were delayed. If you’ve seen my January TBR, then you may have already seen some of these, and you may have already seen them on my Top 5 books I want for Christmas wish list – that’s right, Santa delivered!
See what I mean, Santa delivered! There are so many that I decided to forgo adding the synopsis to these. And thanks to Chapters Indigo for their amazing sale as I got a few of these for only 6$! My haul for January is steadily growing, but won’t reach this magnitude. And thanks to this haul, I now need to reorganize my shelves!! Eep! I got Renegades!! I was so excited I finished it during December too 🙂 It was such a good book and I am so happy to have picked it up

That’s the one I’m most nervous about. Me and John Green don’t have the best track record. I’ve strongly disliked everything expected for Fault in our Stars (Looking for Alaska was just ok). So I don’t have high hopes. What I do have is high anxiety and that’s what I hear this is about….. so maybe I’ll connect with it. I hope I can!

Yes I have read it and loved it 🙂 I am a huge Green fan, though, haha. I think that his portrayal of mental illness was on point, if a bit triggering at times, if I am being honest. I loved reading it, it made me anxious to read it at times, because it was such a powerful insight into Aza’s mind and thoughts spirals. But it’s an ownvoices story, so I didn’t expect less. I hope that you will enjoy it! 🙂

It was my first Green book and it was quite good! I mean not 5 stars but it tackled a lot of important issues and was quite enjoyable

Oh no!!!!! I’m sorry you didn’t get any books for Christmas 😢 did you at least get gift cards? This is the first time I’ve ever gotten physical books for Christmas. I made sure people got lists of what I hoped for
