September book haul – I’m out of control!

Ok, ok. In my defence there is 1 ARC, and 2 that were gifts. I had also preordered 3 and they were just released this month…… isn’t convincing you that I don’t have a problem is it? Well you love books too so I know you’re not judging me! Even if you were judging me I don’t care – I JUST LOVE BOOKS!!

As most of the books I hauled this month came in the mail, I actually saved the packaging for a photo op. I made only a couple purchases but literally every book shipped separately. So the aftermath of my two orders (Through Chapters Indigo and through Book Depository) and my ARC delivery looked a little something like this….

……… I know, right? It looks totally excessive. But I promise that I scored HUGE deals! Yes I spent a bunch of money but I saved about 175$ off the retail prices. I literally didn’t pay full price for a single one! So I say that it’s my bargain shopping that paid off 🙂 GO ME! Since there are going to be so many, I will not be putting the synopsis for each one.

TOWER OF DAWN was a book that I was so excited for! It’s new Queen Maas!! But as soon as I started it I immediately had problems connecting with it. I’m still attempting to work my way through it.

GODSGRAVE was a surprise! I preordered it as soon as I finished Nevernight and didn’t pay attention to the order. I just knew it needed it RIGHT NOW! When it came in it was signed!!!! I squealed and almost cried! I’ve already read it this month and you can find my review here!

ARTEMIS is another highly anticipated one! The lovely people at Penguin Random House were nice enough to send me a copy for review and the cover is more stunning in person! I bet the finished copy will be even better 🙂

FINAL GIRLS!!! It’s finally happening! I’ve been hearing such amazing things about this book for months but left it so that I could have a scary read for October!!

NYXIA was one that I wasn’t going to purchase. But the week that the book was released there were SO MANY reviews that just raved about it! All of your reviews convinced me that I needed to read it. Then it was on sale so it was even better!

IT is a book that I told myself I would never read. EVER. But since I can’t actually see the clown while i’m reading then I should be fine. I’ve been told by many people that this is one of their favourite King books and it was on sale for about 12$ so, ya, it happened. I’ve been wanting to read more King and I guess this is where I start.

THE UNSEEN WORLD I caught this book from one of my favourite You Tubers and she just raves about it ever chance she gets. It’s a story where a young girl needs to unravel the life of her father after he passes and I just love stories like that. When you think you know someone and then you start digging and realize how wrong you were! Can’t wait!

Last but not least we have the first three books in the Zodiac series by Romina Russell. I finished ZODIAC at the beginning of the month (find the review Here) and was so obsessed with it I had to pick up the next two books immediately! I’m not sure when I’ll get to WANDERING STAR and BLACK MOON but I can’t wait to devour them! This series is just AMAZING!!!!! So complex and unique!!

So there’s the out of hand book haul for September. If I’m a good girl (which I realllllllly should be!), there won’t be a haul in October…… my wallet is ready to send me to rehab! What’s your favourite purchase for September?
