Weekly Wrap Up – July 30 – August 5

This week was a difficult one and I’m actually surprised I managed to finish a book. Things were so busy I didn’t touch a book for almost 5 whole days! I wanted to read so badly but I was just too exhausted to read. After finishing 3 books during BookTube-A-Thon I had the desire to read non stop! Which is odd because read-a-thon’s don’t usually push me to read more. So I’m very thankful I participated as it gave me the extra push to read when I feel slumpy in the summer time!

BOOKS I FINISHED THIS WEEK:

STARFALL by Melissa Landers <—– (full review) 4.5 stars
This book was just so much fun! I put off finishing this series for way too long and it felt good to get back into it. This series is such an exciting adventure! Not too heavy, not too light, great characters, and just the right amount of intrigue! This is the perfect summer duology!!!

BOOKS I’M CURRENTLY READING:

I’ve been putting this one off for way too long! I tried to start it a while ago but the italics and the regular print threw me off. Now that I know why the italic story line is in place I hope that I can dive right in. I’m also really in the mood for a crude adult fantasy and this one definitely fits the bill! Due to it’s rave reviews and my own assumption that I will love this, I actually preordered book 2 in the series….. so I hope I can get this one read before it’s released in September lol.

I’M BEING PUBLISHED?!

I can’t release any specific information just yet, but I received an email from an online magazine that expressed interest in a few of my reviews!! I don’t know when it will be published, and which ones they will choose, so keep an eye out for more information! I’m trying so hard not to get too excited as nothing has been set in stone yet but still – I’m so excited!!!

TOP 5 TUESDAY

Oh ummmmmm… WOW! I was absolutely blown away with the amount of people that participated in this weeks Top 5 topic! There were 10 people that did the Top 5 book worlds I want to live in topic! I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you for joining in with me. It was so much fun reading all of your answers. I think it’s safe to say that we all want to live in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter 🙂

TAGS, WRAP UPS, TBR AND MORE!

It was the end of one month and another one started – probably the busiest time in the blogging universe! I wrapped up July and made a new graphic for my monthly wrap ups. Thoughts?? Also, sadly, I decided to end the TBR Thursday feature. I was finding that I was running out of certain genres and had too many of others. I also found that not doing a monthly TBR I was still setting aside certain books that I wanted to read in that month, so I’m going back to the Monthly TBR. I’m so excited for the books I picked out for August! I’ve already finished one of those on the list so I hope I can get to them all! And, for a little fun, I did the Rainbow Book Tag! If I had any more purple books I would totally do it again because it was so much fun to do!
