My fangirl heart is literally exploding with joy right now!!! I got an email a few days ago telling me that my preorder had shipped. Strange I thought. This must be a mistake. Release date is May 2 so why am I getting an email now? But low and behold, I received a package in the mail containing this beauty!!!! I waited until the mail lady was out of my line of sight before I literally danced in my front yard… yes I was stalking her, don’t judge!
I planned a reread of ACOTAR and ACOMAF. I was going to finish book two around the time my preorder came in. I’m only about 150 pages into ACOMAF right now so this is going to push me to speed read like I’ve never read before. And sleep? Meh who needs it?? I know I will be getting very little sleep over the next few days!
I ordered the Chapters Indigo exclusive edition which included fan art end pages and they are SO beautiful! Whoever made these is seriously talented. They look just how I pictured them!
And, in true Sarah J Maas fashion, there is also art on top of all the chapter headings. It’s simple, elegant and beautiful!
Did anyone else get their copy early? I’m so confused why it’s in my hands but I’m not complaining! Months of waiting and it’s finally in my hands. Thanks Chapters Indigo for making this bookworms day SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!

I prefer Charlie’s because it’s a lot less harsh and cuter. Coralie just makes them look a bit too old for my taste. Regardless, both are so incredibly talented ❤

I heard a few people saying over on Books Amino that people in Canada are getting it early – but not all. I ordered through Chapters Indigo and someone else who ordered the same thing didn’t get theirs yet. So It may be a big mistake but I’m not complaining!!

Oh my word I am SO EXCITED to read this book!! Well, excited and terrified! I know it’ll be awesome because it’s Maas, but still! So many fan theories and questions and hopes and spoilers rolling around in my head and I just simply cannot wait to read it!
And Charlie Bowater’s fan art of Rhys and everyone is simply perfect! Hers are my favorite imaginings of Maas’ characters that I’ve found.

I think they must start shipping it a bit early so that you can get the book on the release day. I have some friends who already received the email too. YOU’RE SO LUCKY!! I pre-ordered the paperback tho, and I have to wait for May 2nd and THEN they’ll ship my book. 😦

I’m too much of a perfectionist. If I like it on paper I’ll find a way to screw it up when it comes time to attack the book. Though I may practice to some day decorate one!

I am soooooo jealous!! I’ve been waiting for this book for so long. I really really really hope it’s as satisfying as I’ve hyped it up to be in my head. Also love the fan art pages. Too bad UK Amazon did not offer this edition.
